Tab Tidy AI organizes tabs in your current Chrome window. It does not sell personal data, show ads, or use your data for unrelated purposes.
To create an AI grouping plan, the extension sends shortened tab titles, website domains, existing group names, numeric tab IDs, the current draft, your optional instruction, and a bounded summary of grouping preferences. It does not send full URLs, page contents, browsing history outside the current window, passwords, or form contents.
A random installation identifier is sent for abuse prevention. Cloudflare also makes the requesting IP address available to the service. These identifiers are hashed for rate and daily quota enforcement; quota records expire within two days.
The extension stores a grouping memory in Chrome local storage after you apply a plan. It can include group names, colors, recurring domains, and title keywords. Previewing a plan does not update this memory. Undo restores the prior memory state, and you can erase it from the Memory panel. Draft and undo data use Chrome session storage.
AI requests pass through Cloudflare Workers and are processed by Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Qwen) only to generate the requested grouping plan. Cloudflare may process network and operational data to deliver and protect the service. Tab Tidy logs request status, model name, tab count, and duration for reliability, but does not intentionally log tab titles, prompts, or generated plans.
Tab Tidy does not maintain user accounts or a server-side history of grouping requests. Local extension data remains in your browser until you reset it or uninstall the extension. Short-lived hashed quota records expire automatically. You can stop all processing by removing the extension.
This policy may be updated when the product or its service providers change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
